PROXA installed an emergency mobile water treatment plant to address the client’s time-sensitive needs.
HOW PROXA ADDED VALUE
- After reviewing the required water treatment capacity onsite, the plant capacity was increased from 4 MLD to 6 MLD. The plant was further expanded to a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant via a phased approach.
- The final brine treatment, comprising a combination of thermal evaporation as well as cooling crystallisation, produces 40 tons of salt per day and high quality product water for reuse at Letabo power station.
- We are also responsible for the operations and maintenance supervision of the water treatment plant, including technical support and optimisation of the lifecycle costs associated with the operations of the plant.
