PROXA’s highly experienced technical service team ensures optimal boiler operation and uninterrupted production for Lanxess.
Lanxess required a specialist to ensure that their water treatment plant remains trouble free. The plant, which treats the boiler feed water, must operate at the highest availability, produce in-specification water and operate efficiently and continuously. The contract included the maintenance of chemical residual to ensure scale and/or corrosion-free equipment on the plant.
OUR CHEMICAL SERVICE CONTRACT
PROXA supplies chemicals and dosing stations, in addition to supplying online analysers and sample conditioning units. PROXA also took responsibility for the chemical conditioning of the boiler condensate return.
PROXA’s highly experienced technical service team carries out regular site visits in order to take boiler water samples and perform on-site water analysis. Based on our findings, we give advice on plant performance, dosing regimes and supply any necessary chemicals.
When required, specialist analyses using advanced techniques such as ICP, XRF or similar are used to solve problems. Working in conjunction with the client’s team, we will adjust the dosing regime to target specific undesired elements.
